How long after a tooth is pulled can I get an implant?

It depends on the tooth and the bone around it. In some cases the implant is placed during the same dental procedure as the extraction. More often the site heals for about 3 to 4 months first, and longer if a bone graft is needed. Removing a tooth is minor oral surgery, and it is done here in the same office.
