Dr. Duaa Hamoud earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois in Downers Grove. Although she has practiced as a dentist for nearly a decade, her experience in dentistry began much earlier.
At just 15 years old, Dr. Duaa started working as a dental assistant, spending evenings, weekends, and school breaks learning the field firsthand. Even then, she felt drawn to dentistry because of its ability to change lives in a meaningful and personal way.
Today, Dr. Duaa brings that same passion to her patients in Tucson. She enjoys solving problems, creating thoughtful treatment solutions, and helping patients restore both their oral health and their confidence. Whether a patient needs preventive care, restorative treatment, cosmetic dentistry, or support through a more complex dental concern, Dr. Duaa is committed to providing care that feels compassionate, thorough, and individualized.
Dr. Duaa is a lifelong learner with a deep love for science, anatomy, and clinical advancement. She completes more than 70 hours of continuing education each year to stay current with evolving dental techniques, technology, materials, and patient-care protocols.
Her goal is simple: to bring modern, high-quality dentistry to her patients while making sure each person feels informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit.
Dr. Duaa is also an adjunct faculty member at her alma mater, Midwestern University, where she works with first-year dental students. Her involvement in education reflects her belief that excellent dentistry requires both technical skill and a continued commitment to growth.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Duaa is happily married to her college sweetheart, Ali, who she describes as her biggest supporter and backbone. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, Sofia and Aleesa, who keep the family busy with soccer and everyday adventures.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Duaa can often be found cheering loudly from the sidelines as a proud soccer mom, supporting her husband during marathons and Ironman races, traveling with family and friends, practicing yoga, or planning a celebration for just about any occasion. She especially loves traveling anywhere with a beach.
Dr. Duaa is also passionate about giving back to the community. She has spoken at schools during oral health month, participated in career fairs, and mentored students interested in dentistry. Now serving patients in Tucson, she is excited to connect with the local community and continue helping individuals and families feel more confident about their dental health.
