Position summary

Our leadership team seeks a highly qualified professional to assume responsibility for partnering with specific functional areas of the Company. Working collaboratively with the management of those areas. You will be primarily responsible for managing the benefits offerings, developing, and implementing staffing initiatives to fill openings in a timely manner. You will supervise, coach and mentor. In addition, you will be responsible for leading performance management initiatives and for providing team member relations support. Partnering with managers and supervisors on the delivery of corrective actions to ensure fair and consistent resolution to team member relations issues. Success will be measured through team member retention among other KPI’s:

Specific responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating the company’s benefits program (Health insurance, PTO, W/C, FMLA, etc.).
  • Coach Managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with employees that report to them.
  • Maintain Payroll system.
  • Drive successful sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of credible team members, including our professional candidates.
  • Manage job boards and specialty databases.
  • Coordinate with third party agencies and outside vendors.
  • Review resumes; conduct in-depth interviews; perform reference/background checks and exit interviews for both internal and external recruiting.
  • Oversee the new hire and orientation process.
  • Handle all team member relation issues for the assigned functional areas including; counseling, team member recognition reward programs, disciplinary actions, and policy oversight.
  • Performs other duties and manages special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

To be effective in this position, the person must:

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources (preferably with a dental service industry background).
  • A highly developed customer service attitude and a proven track record championing the implementation of recruiting initiatives are essential.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations is required.
  • Strong experience base in handling and resolving complex team member relations issues required.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure and meet goals/deadlines is a must.
  • You should be at your best when working in a fast-paced environment demanding a proactive, “get it done” approach.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office.
